Dear diary,
Yesterday I was sitting in a hot, stuffy classroom writing to you. It’s was a spectacular and exhausting day (but it got better!).
Let me start with the morning, I got up straight away and got ready for breakfast. Then we walked to the food hall and our breakfast was pain au chocolat and sweet, crunchy cereal (with milk). Yummy!
After we had our scrumptious breakfast we headed back to our dormitory. The first activity was pond dipping. My partner was Clarissa and we captured quite a lot of creatures such as: Stickleback fishes, Dragonfly nymphs, Whirligig beetle, Water beetles and much more.
The next activity was Rafting. It was so fun but muddy. My partner was Henry, and we had to get to the island (in the middle) and touch it with our head. Next we had to stand on one foot for 10 seconds and after standing on one foot we had to do 10 star-jumps. After we both had to jump in the mud (which was so cold) and come back out.
Our second activity was caving. In caving there were tunnels that you had to go through. Some tunnels were very small and some tunnels was quite wide. In caving my partner was Mili and we went together. Caving was really fun and I enjoyed it!
When it was dark we went to the campfire and baked some marshmallows. We told a story which in the start was spooky and scary, but in the end it was actually happy. There was a lot of singing and it was so fun!
Well diary that was a fabulous day and I hope more days like that will come!
See you soon diary.
