This half-term, class 5 are are learning the rules and skills of playing rugby. This week we had our first lesson and we learnt how to pass the rugby ball correctly. Which is a lot harder than you may think. We also learnt that when passing the rugby ball you must pass it backwards to a team player never forwards!
We are fortunate to have two rugby experts in our class, Tana and Guy, who helped us develop our skills of catching and throwing correctly. They were such great coaches – thank you both.
We look forward to developing our knowledge and techniques over the upcoming weeks, in preparation for the Westminster Rugby tournament.
