In Maths this week we have been exploring patterns. We learnt the term ‘repeating pattern’ and had the opportunity to make our own repeating patterns using multi-link cubes and counting camels.
Throughout the day we had lots of activities linked to pattern making. The children traced over some pre-made patterns on the interactive whiteboard, made a repeating pattern using different shaped paper and made patterns using multi-link cubes. We then read ‘Elmer’ and looked at the patterns on his skin.
