This week, year 5 have been working extremely hard at creating their own islands. The class have learned about how a river is formed and created a model of this to show how their island will have a water source. They then developed their islands with different aspects; some have towns, beaches, rainforests, volcanoes, mountain ranges – all features depending on the biome they chose to locate their island in.
Year 5 are extremely excited to share their amazing islands with parents and guardians on Tuesday morning at 9.30am.
