Happy New Year! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
We have had a great start to the term! The children are settled and are very happy to see all their friends again.
Our new topic this half term is ‘Under the Sea’. We have read some books about sea creatures, played some under the sea music and looked at under the water scenes. The children have been naming the different types of sea creatures they know which is very impressive!
We have been making Jelly fish using watercolour paint and next week we will be threading some ribbon through them to ensure they are practising their fine motor skills. We also painted some fish on paper plates which are on our display board. We had a very exciting, practical lesson about the changes from ice to water.
