This week, Year 1 had an exciting start to our new science topic, Animals Including Humans. We began by exploring different body parts, with a fun twist! The children loved singing “Heads, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” to help them remember each part.
As a group, they worked together to create a life-sized diagram by tracing around a classmate, then adding labels to identify different body parts. This hands-on activity kept everyone engaged and eager to show what they know. It was a fantastic lesson, and we’re so proud of how enthusiastically Year 1 dove into learning! Great job, Year 1!
