Our Wider Curriculum topic for this half term is Toys!
This half term we will be looking at toys from both the past and present. We will be developing our understanding of the history of toys and how they have changed over time. We will do this by looking at a range of real life toys, looking at timelines and looking at the materials used to make these toys.
We have already had a very exciting toy day where all of Year 1 got to bring in their favourite toy! We compared these toys with ones from the past. Miss McCarry even showed her favourite toy from when she was a child!
