Today, Year 6 visited the London Transport Museum to take part in a Junior Citizenship event.

In teams, we participated in a range of different workshops including fire safety, road safety, first aid, drug safety, online safety as well as safety when travelling on the bus and Underground.

We all learnt a lot more about keeping ourselves safe when we are out and about.

We are very grateful to the experts from Hope UK, Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police, the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Service who led these informative workshops.

Many thanks also to the parents who helped us on the trip. We can’t take part in these exciting experiences without your support.

Can you share more what you learned, Year 6?

I love how there’s just a picture with a pigeon flying in it!

  3. The trip to the transport museum was very fun. We learned about so many different jobs and how to protect ourselves in secondary school.
