This morning, Year 3 took part in a ‘Still life’ workshop. Colourful fruits, vegetables and other sweet treats were placed in the middle of each table and after examining the food in front of us, we had to draw or paint what we saw! We had the chance to experiment with different materials such as graphite sticks, oil pastels and oil paint. We worked hard on our pictures and focused on the colour, shadow and position of the food to make the objects come to life on paper!
