Challenge:
Have you read any books that are similar to Acorn Wood? How are they similar?
Similar means some things are the same or alike. For example, in the story Paddington bear and in the story, Acorn Wood there is a bear character.

Challenge:
“Mister Fox makes pancake” is similar because there is the fox character and he makes pancakes for his friends who are different animals.
“Frog is frog” is also similar because there is a frog character too.
” A house in the woods” takes place in the woods and the animals are all friends.
” A squash and a squeeze” because there are a lot of animals.
” Max and Ruby” because they play hide and seek.

Books which I have read which are similar are:
1. Fox,s Socks, which was by the same author. It had Fox and Mouse in it.
2. PostMan Bear which was by the same author, Julia Donaldson. It had Bear, Mole, Toad and Squirrel. Bear as also writing letters.
3. Hide and Seek Pig which and Hen, Pig , Doormouse, Badger and Rabbit. Hen is hiding in the picnic basket. These books are all in the same series of books
4. The Gruffalo had a Fox and a mouse, it was in the countryside, deep dark in the forest. In the same series Gruffalo s Child there is the same Fox and mouse.
5. The Fox and the Star was about a different Fox.

Challenge.
Boogie Bear by David Walliams is about a white bear who is called a “boogie bear” by the brown bear because she is different. A brown bear falls in love with her and they have brown and white cubs.
This is similar because it is a story about a bear.
My Pip and Posy books by Alex Scheffler also have lots of woodland creatures in them. There is a rabbit and a mouse who are best friends and there are also other animals in the stories including a squirrel,a toy frog and a toy pig. They go on lots of adventures together like in the Acorn Wood stories which I also have in my book collection.

Yes I read Rabbit’s Nap.
They are similar because rabbit, fox, bear and tortoise were in it. Rabbit was trying to nap, but fox was chopping wood, tortoise was ringing the bell on his bike and mice were playing music. It was very noisy!

Spike’s Best Nest story similarities with Acorn Wood Is that there is a frog, a hen and a rabbit in the story, who shared his house with Spike as in Acorn Wood where rabbit welcome Pig and black bird ? in his house.

The Grufallo and The Smeds and the Smoos and Pip and Prune. All stories have lots and lots of trees. And the author is Axel Scheffler. Most of the animals look the same in all the books.
