I am writing a poem about green, orange and white.
This is a poem about Ireland.
The Colours Of Ireland. ??
Green is the colour of clovers and green is the colour of grass and when I look at green it makes me laugh. ?
Orange is the colour of the fire and The Sun and when I look at Orange I have a lot of fun. ☀️
White is the colour of angles and clouds in the sky, it makes me feel like I can fly. ?
With all these bright colours dazzling on a flag, these are the colours of Ireland and it makes me feel glad. ??

It can be bright, it can be dull
I like it when it is bold
With it, you can draw anything
You can mix it with other colours but just a little
It will be nice, it will be glittering

I like pink because it is beautiful and light. Pink can be a bright flower in the garden which I like to smell. My pink colouring crayon can draw a house, a mat, a sofa, a rabbit, or strawberry ice cream! Pink makes me feel happy.

I loved writing my poem and thinking of lots of rhyming words.
I love green!
Green beans, green trees,
green grass, green jeans!
Green is bright, green is good,
green looks beautiful in the wood!
Leaves are green, leaves are shiny,
leaves are big, leaves are tiny!
Green is healthy in my dinner,
freshly picked from my vegetable patch makes it a winner!
Sometimes the sea is sparkling green,
emerald waves, green crabs,
the greenest seaweed I’ve ever seen!

My favourite colour is blue. It can be light, it can be bright. It can be glowing , it can be dark. It is the colour of the sky, it is the colour of my favourite ice cream, bubble gum flavour. It is the colour of peace. It is relaxing to look at at anything which is colour blue.

My favourite colour is turquoise.
These are my thoughts on it:
– Things that are turquoise: sky, sea, beach, ocean, my favourite toy (bunny rabbit Sansan), my mum’s computer where I type my school work, one of the colours of the rainbow, my water cup, nail polish, some flowers, a gem.
– Turquoise makes me feel: happy, calm, gives me tranquillity.
With the help of my mum, we used these words in a way to make them rhyme:

Turquoise is the ocean

Turquoise is the colour
Of the favourite toy of mine
Turquoise makes me happy

That I hold on my palm
