Good morning Year 1!
Today I am going to set some computing activities. The aim of this lesson is to use a game on Busy Things to create text, images and animations.
Please ask your parents to help you login to Busy Things.
You will need your my.uso login to get into Busy Things. Have a look at this page if you need a reminder on how to get into Busy Things. Remember to press the ‘Who am I’ button and you will be able to login using your date of birth.
Update: For anyone who is having trouble logging into Busy Things. Follow these steps:

Go to this website. – my.uso.im

Press red button saying USO Login

It will ask for a username and password. You can find these on the front page of your child’s home learning pack. Once you are in you will be able to see a tab called Busy Things.

Or you can go to ‘Who am I’ login (Blue button) then Early Years login.You will need to find the class, the child’s name, and enter pin – the pin is your child’s date of birth.

Please refer to your child’s home learning pack. The front page has instructions with logins that you will need.

Go to Key Stage 1 then Year 1
2. Click onto English then comprehension
3. Scroll down until you find the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. You will play these three games.
4. Once you have played the games and understood the story, you can start to create your own character for the story.
Go back to English then press on Transcription
Next you scroll down to Spelling then Traditional Tales:Dressing up box
You can dress the cat and the dog as well as write some sentences and some speech bubbles.

We were trying to use the ‘who am I’ login but it seems that it does not work outside the school. And we don’t have a username for the ‘easy login’. Could you please advise what to do?

Goldilocks And The Three Bears exercises.
The phonics programme
Rhythm and Rhyme, Alliteration and Oral blending and segmenting
The cat and dog dress up activity. Unfortunately the speech bubbles were not working on her iPad.
**Isabella is writing her own story using one of the activities on the site and using other games/activities.
