Good morning everyone!
Happy Easter to you all!
We are continuing our 5 Steps to Well being this week and today our focus is:
A task you might like to think about today is how you can give your time to create some happiness!
Research shows that giving actually makes us feel happy inside and it is good for our well being!
Have a think about how you can give your time at home…
Here are some suggestions:
Helping your parents with a job
Reading a book with your sibling
Baking something for everyone to enjoy!
Help cook lunch or dinner
Make something for a family member
Can you think of any of your own?
These little acts of kindness can make a real difference 🙂
Try it yourself and comment on the blog what you did!
I look forward to hearing from you all!
Much love,
Miss Jones x
Hello Miss Jones I dedicated my time to make others feel good by calling my grandmother and my youngest cousin everyday and playing with them since we are all stuck at home and we can’t actually see each other in person. This makes me feel better because I am with them having fun but being careful with the virus. I also like it because I am making them have fun too not just me, sometimes being at home is very boring. Hope you are all well.
Hi Claudia, that’s a really lovely idea. Giving others your time to chat and have fun over the phone can really make a difference. I’ve done this lots with my friends and family too!
Good morning St. Vincent’s,
Gabriel and I just helped our mummy with the laundry and we sorted all the clothes into piles for each person. Gabriel wants to help carry his bike down the stairs and give lots of hugs to our baby brother, Alexander. I also want to give hugs to Alexander and I want to help prepare lunch and dinner.

Hi Heloise and Gabriel, it sounds like you have been busy helping with lots of jobs. That’s great to hear! Super teamwork 🙂
Hello Miss Jones, and well done Claudia, Heloise and Gabriel! There is no better feeling than making people happy, giving your time on the phone or helping around the house are great ways to achieve that. Sharing is also a lovely way to be kind. I have shared some of the many resources on the Home Learning for the Holidays page with my niece in France, she particularly liked the Time Capsule and the museum links!
