I really enjoyed yesterday’s performance of Amaluna, especially with you all. Watching your reactions was a real treat. What did you think of it and what were your thoughts?
Do you think it followed the plot of Shakespeare’s The Tempest fully or loosely? What aspects of the Tempest could you relate to in the Cirque du Soleil performance?
Have you got any ideas of your production sets that you would like to construct? I think I would like to make the aerial hoop.
Can you use three of your best adjectives to describe the performance? Mine are: jaw-dropping, incredible and memorable.
I thought it was awesome and something and something I will NEVER forget. I have so many ideas for our production sets, one is the pulley system. The similarities between the Tempest and the performance was that Miranda is the same person, the finding for Ferdinand (aka Romeo) in the beginning, the magic, the Lightning and I could go on and on but that would be boring. My adjectives are inspiring, indelible and awesome!
By the way are the top six who are going to the Royal Albert hall a competition? ?
I will never forget this experience ! The similarities in Tempest and Amaluna are that Miranda is the same but they changed Ferdinand into Romeo (Romeo and Juliet) which is also a Shakespeare play.
The instruments which actually fit into the singing and their strength were amazing! That was unbelievable- they were freaking me out that they were going to get themselves killed!
I really enjoyed watching it. I thought it was mind blowing. The engineering was fantastic. Everything was in time and it makes it more dramatic.
I thought it was awesome!!???
I really enjoyed the bit where Miranda see’s Ariel.
And also the bit where the spirits swing!
