Computing Task
Animation is a way of making a movie from many still images. The images are put together one after another, and then played at a fast speed to give the illusion of movement.
During the spring term in school, we enjoyed experimenting with the Stop Frame Animator software to make our own animation.
We used different scenery, figures and props in each frame to build up to a sequence to create an animation.

Task
Today your task is to recap on these skills and create your own animation for your family to watch.
- Plan your animation. Think of a short story or idea for your animation. You may want to draw or write down some of your ideas in your yellow homework book.
- Then, you need to log into J2e.com, click on the red LGfL button and then use your USO log in and password which you can find in your Home Learning Packs.
- Once you have logged in, scroll down to the Stop Frame Animator software and click on it. Click on the start button and read through the instructions to remind yourself of how to use the software.
- Start making your animation. Once you have completed it, show it to your family members and ask them what they thought!
- Finally, share a few words on the blog about what animation you made and what your family members thought.

Movie
My animation is set in the backyard, by the pool. There is a man and he is playing with a dog. The weather is sunny and warm,so my animation is actually what I can see through the window. My family loves it.

This is SOOOOOOOO fun!!!!
This was such fun! My brother and sister enjoyed watching my video.
My movie was about a man and a dog who argue about two hats and a pair af eyes but the balloons don’t like it and the balloons then take them into the air. But the balloons somehow get bigger except for a small one who is hiding behind them and takes them into the air. And in the end the small balloon has the two hats and the pair of eyes.
My mum found it funny.

Good afternoon I did the a movie
It is so much fun to create animations!! My brother brother was creating one movie with me.
My parents loved it!! I have made a few animations but unfortunately I couldn’t save them all.
I have made a movie called No kiwi. And I made a song that I sing along with it goes like this:
One day I wanted some kiwi, so I looked in the pantry, when the pantry no have kiwi I looked at my roommate, my roommate ate my kiwi so I ate my roommate! ? and the film goes along with the guy walking to the pantry and then couldn’t find his kiwi so he looked at his roommate and the roommate ate the kiwi so the guy eats his roommate!???
I’m gonna show you it when we come back from the lock down in the computing J2e lesson with stop frame animator!

My animation was about a man going to the beach and hes playing with his dog and then at the end he meats his friend and his dog
It was so fun. I did one when they are on lock down.
