Hi everyone ..what a great activity Ms Savage?
Have fun making your boats ..what will you call them?
I can’t wait to see images of your boat.
Moses really enjoyed the activity. With the help of his siblings he created a pirate ship named ‘Lightning Zap!’ The boat successfully carried 102 pennies.Good luck to the other contestants ?
(We will email the photos separately )
I’m so pleased to hear that you enjoyed this activity Moses. I look forward to receiving your photos. Maybe now you need to make a pirates treasure chest to put all those pennies in! Or did you use a pound? ?
Great name Moses
Thank you Ms O’Connell?
I used a big water bottle, I painted it with light blue, I used a straw and blue paper for the flag with my name on it.
I put it in the water and I put 40 coins and it didn’t sink!
Well done Nico!
I made a boat with a sea horse mast and a pink ribbon. I used stickers and drawings to decorate /sail my boat.
We moved and did not bring our coin boxes with us but Mummy gave me all the coins she had in her purse. I put 4 x 2p and counted this to be 8p. I found it too difficult to count the silver coins but I counted 10 coins in total. The boat could carry more coins but Mummy had no more.
