Good Morning Year 2!

Click here for a printable version of this blog post: English Wednesday printable

Today we are going to be practising some words that we use quite a lot in our writing, but can be tricky to spell.

This website has games to practise some of these words (not all, but they have other tricky words for you to practise)Β

For your handwriting today, I want you to find your Top 3 things that make you happy from your work on Monday:

Can you practise writing these words/sentences 5 times? Each time you write it, see if you can make it neater than the last. Can you try to join any of the letters?

When you’re practising your handwriting, remember to start and finish your letters in the right place, sit the letters on the line and remember which ones are tall and which ones hang below the line. There is a handwriting guide in your Home Learning Folders to help you if you need it. This BBC Bitesize page has helpful guides and videos to remind you how to form your letters correctly.Β

You could decorate your beautiful neat handwriting with pictures and patterns if you want!
