Sorting the words:
– Past: spoke, ate, slept, looked, jumped, gave, kicked, yelled.
– Present: hug, jump, growl, give, sing.
Sentences in the past tense:
1) I spoke with my best friend on the phone last night.
2) I ate pasta, tomatoes and broccoli for lunch today.
Sentences in the present tense:
1) I hug my mom every day.
2) I was about to jump my skipping rope but it was time for lunch.
