Our new topic for the Spring term is Explorers!
We will be learning and discovering so many wonderful things in this exciting History topic until Easter! We will be learning to recount the lives of Amy Johnson, Neil Armstrong, Christopher Columbus, the Wright brothers, Garret Morgan and many more! Throughout the topic we will be learning about different modes of transport that explorers have used on their travels and what treasures or wonders they found. We will be looking at world maps, to track which countries the explorers visited and how they travelled there. Most excitingly we will be looking at Space travel! How people travelled from Earth into space, and what they found there!

I would like to explore the whole world but first I would like to see other parts of Greece that I haven’t seen yet to explore ancient history and to admire beautiful sunsets by the sea. I love Greece. Also, I would like to explore Australia to see kangaroos, crocodiles and spiders because I love animals. Isabelle
I think one of the best inventions that changed the way we travel is a compass. Being able to set and tell direction of travel is very important.
If wings for flying could invented this would be amazing as I would be able to go on a flying adventure of my own. I have a great wish to visit and explore Nepal and see the highest mountain Everest in the world
Rocket is the best invention as can travel to space and explore the universe.

I think the best invention is the hot air balloon, even though it travels very slowly and only short distances, I love that you can see many views and the sunsets, I would love to visit Morocco because they have very nice hot air balloon experience.
A flying car will be a good invention, it will help reduce road traffic while enjoying a nice view in the skies like the hot air balloon.

I love learning about.explorers especially when we were studying Christopher Columbus! He wanted to go to India and China instead he went to Americas.
I love helicopters because you can have a great view, also I would like to explore all different parts of Spain 🙂

I want to explore Austria because there is lots of snow in the winter and I can build a snowman. Austria has big mountains which you can hike in the summer and ski in the winter.
I love learning about Neil Armstrong. He was the first person to go to the moon and that’s really cool!
The best way to travel is via plane, I wish I created a aeroplane to travel to far places, as I would like to explore Asia.
