Morning Year 6!

Yesterday, I mentioned that I was in ‘Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat’ when I was 7 years old!

If you are unfamiliar with the story it is based on the Biblical story of Joseph, found in the Book of Genesis.

Can you name all the colours in his coat!? I think I still can…just!

Anyway, Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat’ is set in Caanan, land which according to the Bible, was named after a man called Canaan, the grandson of Noah (Genesis 10).

The land known as Canaan was situated in the territory of the southern Levant, which today encompasses Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, Jordan, and the southern portions of Syria and Lebanon.

Linking to this, today I would like to you to conduct some research on Israel.

Please draw the flag in your Home Learning Book and then carry out some research on both the physical and human geography of the country and create a table in your Home Learning Book.

The following websites may be useful to you:

Good luck and include 2 of your most interesting facts below (one focusing on Human Geography and one focusing on Physical Geography). Remember to send in any photos!
