Good morning Year 5!
Today we will be revising: multiplying 4 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers.

Do not: disregard place value and multiply the digits instead of their values!
So, column method is one suggested method.
Here is another method:
Emma starts of by breaking down the number 6231 into smaller parts.
This method requires you to break the numbers into their smaller parts to multiply by ones, tens, hundreds and thousands.
