Skill: I can measure the perimeter of 2-D shapes.
First watch this video, which tells you information about the perimeter.
Now have a go at working out the perimeter of different 2D shapes. Remember the perimeter is the total length around a figure.

The perimeter of a 2D shape is the total distance around the outside of the shape. The area of a 2D shape is the space inside the shape.
