It is almost World Book Day! Tell us all about your favourite book. What is it called and who is the author? Why do you love this book so much?
My favourite book is Little Red Riding Hood because:
•in the end the woodcutter helps the little red riding hood
•she is a very nice girl because she is bringing biscuits to her sick grandmother
•she is very pretty in her all red clothes
•she is making a beautiful flower bouquet to her grandmother
•the granny ate all the biscuits.
My favourite book is 10 Little Penguins.
It is my favourite because there is a seal with a fish on his nose which is funny.
The polar bear catches a penguin in a net and then falls over.
4 penguins go on an bobsled but one falls out.
There’s only one penguin left going home on the bus.
But there is a surprise at the end and all 10 penguins are back.

My favourite book is Commotion In The Ocean by Giles Andreae and David Wojtowycz . I love it because I have learnt about lots of sea creatures from it. I really like the jellyfish that jiggles, the beautiful angel fish and the deep sea fish, even though they are a bit scary! I picked it from Daunt Books with my daddy.
I’m so excited about Book Week and can’t wait to get dressed up tomorrow!
My favorite book is “Henry and the Fox” by Christopher Wormell. Henry is a cockerel that nobody likes because he’s a coward. His only friend is a chicken called Buffy. But he overcomes fear which makes everyone start to love him too. And then Henry and Buffy are happy.
