We were learning about repeating patterns a few weeks ago. You could try a more tricky patter this time like red, red, green, red, red, green. Remember-you can’t change your pattern half way through!
I am looking forward to hearing about and seeing your Maths work today.
Love from Miss Siswick. (I will be teaching at school so I will not be able to respond until later today.)
It would really help me if you could upload photos straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.
Great counting, Caspian. I love your caterpillars.
Remember: A pattern needs to repeat like this: red blue red blue or green yellow yellow green yellow yellow.
Alexander went through today’s task being able to count the different colour segments of the Caterpillar we drew, he initially found less and more a bit tricky but with some help he got the idea
Sorry it’s late but we had lots of fun. He is a very long caterpillar with extremely long legs 😉
Grace counted 25 body sections and 23 legs. I think the pattern went off on a tangent!
Hello,
Victoire succeded the paterns!
Great patterns, Victoire. Well done.
Ania counted the caterpillars of the body parts and said that she was very long and ate a lot of food. Ania drew patterns herself.
Great patterns and counting, Ania.
Hello Miss Siswick,
The caterpillar ? has 20 body parts, he was very hungry he ate a lot of food and because of that he had a stomachache.
Caspian decided to dip his finger in paint instead of drawing and painted his pattern caterpillar on the same page with the rest of the caterpillars.
Great counting, Caspian. I love your caterpillars.
