Today’s Phonics task: Practice making the ‘c’ action and saying, ‘c c c c c.’ Go on a hunt in your house for things that begin with a ‘c’ sound. Practice saying them like this c c c c cat.
Practice writing the letter ‘c’ in the air and on the table with your finger. You can also write the letter on your laminated card using a whiteboard pen or on paper using pen, crayons, paint or pencil.
I can’t wait to hear about all of the things that you found in your house that begin with c.
Good morning, Adelaide found many objects starting with c/k. Croissant, cup, crayons, corn, carrot, cucumber, candle, casque (french for helmet), car, coat, cushion and kitchen. But also cuddle and kiss! She wrote a very nice C but the wrong way (like in a mirror) – so need more practice.
