Today we all planted our very own bean stalks. So far there are two bean seeds and soil in each cup. We will water them and give them lots of light. What do you think will happen next?

Everybody’s beans grew into a beautiful beanstalk with roots, a stem and leaves. You have all taken your beanstalks home now. Please let us know what happened next!
To all of the older children who already know what will happen next because they did this in Nursery, please don’t comment on this blog. I would really like the Nursery children to make predictions by themselves without you telling them the answers. Thank you very much, older children.

The plants have to have water. The plants will grow. The beans are going to be red. Red is my favourite colour, and purple is my favourite colour.
