Hello Class 1!
Whilst we are at home it is still important to keep active and exercise to make sure we stay healthy!
I was looking through some of the school’s songs for dance in PE and I found some called ‘The Explorer’. I thought they would link perfectly with us finishing our learning on The Great Explorer!
Here they are…
Your task today is to choose one of the songs (or if you have a better song in mind… Perfect!) and create a dance which shows Tom’s journey through the North Pole to rescue his dad!
You might want to choose quick moves to show Tom running from the polar bear.
You might want to choose slow and tall moves to show Tom gazing up at the Northern Lights.
Think about how you can represent Tom’s journey through different dance moves and then put all of your moves together to create your final dance!
When you have perfected your dance, you might want to perform it or teach it to someone at home! Send in some photos of you practising and perfecting your dances!
I can’t wait to see what moves you come up with!
