Today, I would love to see some more of your wonderful writing.
You can choose to write about some of the pictures or write about whatever you choose.
Write, using a pencil, in your writing book.
Try to sound out and write all of the words by yourself so that I can see your fabulous phonics.
See if you can use some tricky words.
You can write more than one sentence if you are feeling confident.
Don’t forget your finger spaces!
I can’t wait to see your writing*.
Love from Miss Siswick.
It would really help me if your child’s first name was visible on the photo of the writing. If you have chosen to send a photo of your child holding their work, however, please don’t include their name. Also, if you are able to upload it straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) it gets to me more quickly as it doesn’t have to go via the office. Many thanks.
You have all impressed me with your fantastic writing so far this morning, Reception. I can read every single word so clearly. This shows me that you’ve been working very hard with your letter formation, tricky words, sounds and blending, Well done, everyone.
Great use of the tricky words, Marcus. Well done.
Maybe you could write one or two sentences at a time and then come back to your writing when you’ve had a rest.
Thanks for the tips about breaks Miss Siswick. The next challenge is overcoming the reluctance to start writing in the first place! We’ll keep working on it….. We dearly miss all the teachers!
