Good Morning, Reception.

Well done for all of your hard work in phonics yesterday.

Today, we are going to focus on the tricky words again. Can you read the tricky words?

Next, listen to the story of Farmer Duck in the video (can you guess who is reading it?) or read the book if you have it.

Then, write these tricky words in your book; to, the, into, was, they, all.

Listen to the Farmer Duck story again and tick the tricky words every time you hear them.  You could pause the video at the end of each page.

How many times did you hear each of the tricky words?

Challenge: You could turn the sound off and try to read the story all by yourself.

I am looking forward to hearing all about the tricky words that you found and read today.

Love from Miss Siswick.

PRINTABLE VERSION:R Phonics Thursday

It would really help me if you could upload photos  straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.
