Good Morning, Reception.

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend.

We have nearly finished our Religious Education topic all about ‘Good News’.

We  shared our own good news.

We  remembered the good news of Easter.

We  learned about when Jesus went to Heaven at the Ascension.

We  learned about when Jesus sent the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

We  learned about some of the wonderful things that Jesus did for others when he was alive.

We  learned  that the disciples shared the good news about Jesus with others.

We learned that Pentecost is the birthday of the Church because on that day, 3000 people who had never met Jesus, were baptised into the family of God.

Today, I would like you to answer these big questions about good news:

  • How does hearing the good news about Jesus make people feel?

  • How can you share the good news about Jesus with other people?

Can you ask some big questions of your own?

  • Is there anything that you wonder about Jesus?

  • Is there anything that you wonder about the Holy Spirit?

I am looking forward to hearing your ideas and questions today.

Love from Miss Siswick

PRINTABLE VERSION:R RE Monday

It would really help me if you could upload photos  straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.

Why the Holy Spirit is invisible?
