We are going to focus on a new book for the next week and I am going to reveal only a little bit at a time
Today, all I want you to do is look closely at these objects that belong to the main character in our new story:
Think about these questions:
What are they?
What do you think they might be for?
Who might have left them?
What do you think the owner’s favourite colour might be?
What do you think the story might be about?
If the story was about you, what colour would your objects be?

The toy horse is to play, the apple and cherries are to be eaten, the string is to make things and the feather is to tickle friends.
The person likes red and I think it might be a kid.
My colour would be yellow as it is my favourite colour.

Someone left them because they ‘re not using them anymore.
I think red is their favourite colour is red. It is a giant and they took them from people. Red is my favourite colour too.

We loved this assignment! A pony, an apple, cherry, string, one feather and a ladybird. We think the things belong to a princess that lives in a castle. She likes eating fruits and using feathers on her head. We wrote down the words and also made a drawing of what our things would be: candy, ball, crown and headphones. Our favourite colour is blue.
