This half term, our topic is Seasons. Today we spoke about all the things we already know about seasons.
We know that:
· During autumn, all of the leaves turn orange and fall off the trees. We have fireworks and the weather is quite cold.
· During winter, lots of plants die and there are not so many flowers and not so much food. It rains lots and sometimes it snows, snowflakes fall down from the sky. It can be very cold and we do not see the sun so much. Lots of trees have no leaves but some trees, like Christmas trees, stay green all the time.
· During spring, baby animals are born and they start to grow. Other things start to grow too. We hear the birds singing in the mornings. The weather is getting warmer but it can still feel cold.
· At summer time, there are lots of leaves on the trees. There are lots of flowers. It feels hot and sunny.
