I am so excited to announce that our new topic for the Spring term will be ‘Extreme Earth and Wild Weather’!
We are going to be learning about some extraordinary places, events and people.
But before we begin, I would like you to start thinking about some questions:

I would like to find out is the worst volcanic eruption recorded. I would also like to find out where the largest tsunami occurred.

1. I know that there are lots of different weathers like rain, hurricanes , tsunamis and snow. In the sky it is really cold and there is no oxygen. That is why it is hard to breathe.

I know that Earth is thicker around the equator,the belt around the middle. How much thicker? Well, it鈥檚 about 0.3% thicker. It鈥檚 not much, so when you see a photo of Earth, it appears round. But it鈥檚 just barely not.
Earth is the ground we live on, where there are weathers which are predictable or unpredictable. Some can be harsh but some can be gentle. Different types of weathers are made according to temperature or the moon.

Earth is a woundifull place not only that we live on but olso the place where we live our lifes, we spent on earth happy times and sad times.The wold has good and bad, lots of animals like tiny,small, medium,big and ENORMOUS.On earth there are plants and floweres that smell nice or horrible they could be edible or poison.
Weather
On earth there could be lots and lots of weatheres like,
路 It could be suny like in a desert
路 It could snow very hard or very light
路 It could be a storm regular or with lightning
路 There could be also a strong tornado that could be any tipe.

I heard that there was something called Hurricane Katrina that happined around 2005 or 2006 I am not 100% sure ,oh and lots of diffferent animals where in it to.Of course there was the earthquake that damidged a lot of houses and countries.In 2012 lots of bad things happened like Typhoon Bopha/Pablo in the Philippines; the most expensive disaster was Hurricane Sandy in the US and Caribbean; and the disaster affecting the most people was the drought/food crisis in the Sahel region but in 2020 wich is now there is the corona virous.

We have four seasons, and those four seasons generally bring different types if weather for in stance in winter we can get snow and rain

Sometimes in the summer it can get really hot and in the winter it can get really cold.And also the wind sometimes is really strong but sometimes wind makes things cold because it blows around the earth.Also in the winter very often it rains very heavy and that causes floods.Question 2.In some country鈥檚 there are lots of floods.These floods can wreck houses,building鈥檚,cars and farm animals.Question 3.I would like to find out about the country鈥檚 or places were the whether has been caused and what other kinds of whethers there are from Billie
