In Year 2 today we discussed the responsibilities involved in being a member of the School Council and the Green Team. We had some lovely helpers visit us from Year 4 to explain what would be involved. Lots of the children were interested so we decided to have a vote. The children who wanted to be involved had to write a speech and present it to the class. They had to explain what they would do to help the school and why they would be good for the role.
