Which book character would you most like to be? Perhaps you would love to explore magical lands and battle the White Witch like Lucy Pevensie. Maybe you would like to become one of the demi-gods and save Earth from the Greek gods, like Percy Jackson. Or maybe you would like to explore London and be adopted by a chaotic but loving family, like Paddington! Whatever your choice, explain why you think it would be so good to be this character.
This is just a clue of what I’m going to be on Thursday: It is a she, and it is a funny character. She loves someone specific in her family and has a wild imagination.
The main reason why I like her so much is because of her wild imaginaton and the way she makes me laugh.
Can you guess what character I am?
I would like to be Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
I have been reading a new book called Salt To The Sea. It is set in WW2 and it’s about all the sad things that happened to incocent people. It is also about how the Germans and Polish people felt about Hitler setting up death camps (concentration camps).
Since it includes lots of violence I would recommend this to children 10+.
It is a very sad and moving book that will make you think about all the people that died or were killed during this horrible time.
We should be feeling very lucky that we have a family that loves and cares about us and also our friends who stick up for us everyday at school and whenever you are with them.
We should always be thankful for what we have and never ask for more when we know we have enough.
All your costumes were wonderful Year 6 on World Book Day.
