  1. Dear Miss Drury,

over the past couple of months I read many books by two of my favourite authors which are Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl. “The Enchanted Wood” and “Matilda” are my favourites because both books have magic and adventure.

    Dear Miss Drury,

I love books, especially about strong and clever girls. During lockdown I really enjoyed the Maisie Hitchings series (Holly Webb): Maisy is a detective in Victorian London and solves a lot of mysteries. I liked the Witch series by Kate Umansky: Eslie is a witch who has lots of adventures. I loved reading the Dragon with a Chocolate Heart series (Stephanie Burgis) which is about a dragon who becomes a girl. I also liked reading the Dork diaries series (Rachel Russell) as I find them very funny. The Secret Mermaid series (Sue Mongredien) is very exciting with a girl suddenly becoming a mermaid after being given a pretty shell necklace by her grandma.

    Greetings,
    Sophia P
