To our St. Vincent’s family,
We are always here for you, even when you are not in the school building. You are used to using Worry Boxes in school. This is another version of the Worry Box, but online so you can contact us form wherever you are, whatever time it is.   If there is anything worrying you, please  post it below. We won’t publish your name but we may publish what is worrying you anonymously and we will try to find a solution which we will publish so you can read it-and this might also help others who are feeling the same way. You are not alone.
Please remember you can always talk to any of the trusted adults in school as well.

  1. I am feeling worried because Miss Portugal hasn’t been here for 4 days and now I’m starting to feel nervous . I might be finding subjects hard. Will she be able to come to St Vincents Catholic Primary School next week . Recently I’ve been going on Childline it helped me a little bit then my Mum gave me a pack of delicous dried fruit.     Thank you for sharing your worries. I am impressed by the different strategies you have to help you when you are feeling this way, and there are some good supportive activities on the Childline website. Miss Portugal was not very well last week but she is feeling much better now so will hopefully be back at school tomorrow.

  5. I’m feeling a bit anxious because I’m scared of people making fun of me and sometimes some people fake fight and ask who is better friend and I don’t like it because it makes me feel like I’m not their friend anymore.

    Thank you for sharing your worry. Friendships can be wonderful but also difficult. It may help to share with your friends how you are feeling. I can remind everyone in assembly that fighting is not acceptable and this includes fake fighting or play fighting. I will also ask Mr Garnet to do some work with the whole class about friendships.

    Thank you for sharing your worry. Mr Aitken will only choose confident swimmers who want to participate in the swimming gala. if you don’t feel ready this year you may be more confident next year. I will come to find you later and check that you are okay.
