We are proud of Year 5 for settling in so well to their new classroom!
They have been very busy exploring the book ‘Beowulf’ by Michael Morpurgo. The children acted out the roles of the fearsome beast Grendel and how he may have reacted to different situations.
They then wrote fantastic character descriptions using similes and metaphors to have an effect on the reader. Well done, Year 5!
