Despite the thunder and lightning forecast for this afternoon, we’ve had a lovely sunny afternoon. However we still managed to get very wet!
We set off through the woods to the stream and then had an adventurous journey up the stream. We had to walk through the water, ducking under branches and climbing over tree trunks. We were doing very well at keeping dry until the water got a bit deeper and came into our wellies! Once we were wet many of us were happy to then get even wetter and dunked ourselves in the river!
Thankfully our next activity was swimming so we were able to jump in the cleaner water and play! We all needed a warm shower and a hot chocolate after though.
The we had a very exciting trip to the tuck shop before another orienteering challenge.
We’re looking forward to our dinner in a bit and tonight’s quiz! The teachers are hoping that it will tire us out for a big sleep tonight!
Amazing trip.
We miss you and cannot wait to read your letters.
Thank you for lovely photos.
Have fun and all the best Year 6.
That all looks such fun! What a super day you had- full of adventure and challenge.
Well done Year 6 🥰
Great updates, thank you!
So cooool 😀
Great to see you all looking so well and enjoying yourselves.
Out of all the activities, the stream walk was my favourite. I really enjoyed it because everyone got really wet including the teachers. It was also my favourite because after we went to the tuck shop.
The river walk was so cool, we all got so wet.
Wet. Very, very wet.
