We had a special whole school assembly today as we welcomed Fr Christopher and Mr Davis to our school.
Mr Davis spoke to us all about the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage. It was fascinating to hear about his experiences. It helped us to remember that Jesus is always in our hearts. The Pilgrimage was held to celebrate the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church.
Our Pupil Chaplains then read the Congress Prayer:
Jesus, you are truly present
in the Most Holy Eucharist.
Help me feel your presence
every time I visit you.
Give me your strength
when I receive you in Holy Communion.
And, receiving Your love,
help me take that love to others.
I ask this in your name.
Amen
