After the recent heat wave, we are thrilled that this is hopefully the last time we will be feeling hot and sweaty in school, as this summer we are installing ventilation and air conditioning units across the school.
This work is part of the mitigation measures for the Moxon Street Car Park development (during which time we will probably have to keep the windows shut) so is being fully funded by the developers. Thank you. Although they are not very attractive, the units will keep us cool, with plenty of fresh air, during these major works.
Scaffolding has been erected in the courtyard, enabling the historic units to be removed and giving access to the side of the building so holes can be made ready for the installation of the new units.
