Today we enjoyed another informative assembly about air quality. We thought about the local area and the causes of pollution. We then thought about how we can each make a difference and the key message was to walk whenever possible, rather than travelling by car or unnecessarily using public transport.
Christine from MP Smarter Travel then worked with Green Team to put up tubes around the school and these will be monitored to see which areas of the school environment are the most and least polluted. We are interested to see the results!
Finally Christine worked with our Junior Travel Ambassadors and visited every class to see how we travel to school. She was very impressed with how many of us already walk or scooter to school.
