This morning Key Stage 2 were very privileged to listen to an assembly by Mr McGregor, Amelia’s daddy, who told us about his amazing work a heart surgeon. Mr McGregor lead the team who completed the first successful heart transplant on a baby-who is now 31 years old! We were all incredibly interested and paid attention to his ‘Lessons to be Learnt’ which are very similar to our school beliefs, especially our Learning Powers. Thank you Mr McGregor for coming to talk to us. We will miss your family when you move to America but we appreciate that you have further important work to complete in this area, which we look forward to hearing about.
