This week, Reception have been learning about Anti-Bullying Week.
This year’s theme is ‘Reach Out’ and we have been learning about a trusted adult or friend we can reach out to if we are feeling sad or need help.
On Monday we had odd socks day, where we celebrated how unique and special we all are!
During the week, we had some discussions and time with Jasper the kind bear. We shared how we can be kind with each other and how this can make someone feel when we show kindness. We also talked about a trusted adult or friend we can talk to if we are feeling sad or need help.
We made some special portraits of the trusted adults that we thought about and shared these with each other.
We had an Anti-Bullying assembly with Belinda who talked to us about how to keep safe online. We learnt that it is important to show kindness online and ask an adult if we need help with something.
Reception made some wonderful posters for their homework this week to show awareness of Anti-Bullying Week. Lots of the posters showed how we can be kind to one another each day.
Well done Reception for all of your efforts this week!
