Bullying affects millions of lives and can leave us feeling hopeless. But it doesn’t have to be this way. If we challenge it, we can change it. And it starts by reaching out. Whether it’s in school, at home, in the community or online, let’s reach out and show each other the support we need. Reach out to someone you trust if you need to talk. Reach out to someone you know is being bullied. Reach out and consider a new approach. And it doesn’t stop with young people. From teachers to parents and influencers to politicians, we all have a responsibility to help each other reach out. Together, let’s be the change we want to see. Reflect on our own behaviour, set positive examples and create kinder communities. It takes courage, but it can change lives. So, this Anti-Bullying Week, let’s come together and reach out to stop bullying.
Over the course of the week, the children will take part in a number of activities to:
- Raise the profile of bullying and the effect it has on the lives of children and young people,
- Create a climate in which everyone agrees that bullying is unacceptable,
- Make sure that we all have the skills and knowledge to address bullying effectively.
Please continue to check the website to see what we have been up to.
I like to do anti-bullying week because it is the week were we try to help other and think how someone might they feel getting bullied. This weeks activities are amazing and I can’t wait!
I liked Anti-bulling week because bullying has to stop and everybody should be treated fairly and equally because too many people around the world are getting bullied either because of their skin colour or where they come from👨🏼👩🏼😀👨🏾👩🏾.
😁💖
I love anti bullying week because we get to help people who are feeling sad. I think everybody should be kind to each other and not hurt other peoples feelings. If everybody could be kind to their friends, we can be happy and the teachers would not have to go and have to fix everything.
I love anti-bullying week because it is a time where we help people who get bullied and sad . So if we don’t tell people how we feel when we are bullied,we would still be bullied and we will be hurt.
This week is so important to remind us that bullying in any form online or in person is NEVER OK. Name calling, making little gangs and taking sides even when in the wrong are just some examples of bullying.
It takes a lot of courage to accept one’s mistake. Treat each other with kindness and the way you would like to treated.
Your world will be richer, happier and definitely more fun!!
Thank you SV for organising this week.
