We have loved raising awareness for ‘Anti-Bullying’ this week in Year 2. We understand how important it is to respect one another and support and stand up for our friends!
The theme for Anti-Bullying week this year is ‘United Against Bullying’. We have learnt about how we are all unique and special and we are all ‘fearfully and wonderfully made’ by God.
During our busy week of activities we had lots of discussion time to talk about different types of bullying and learn about what we can do if we need help. We designed our very own odd socks during odd socks day to help us celebrate how different and unique we all are!
We enjoyed a special class worship with year 6, who told us about a special mission of kindness we could carry out this week. We also discussed the things that make us unique, following on from a fun Science video by Douggie Dug Dug!
Finally we made our own jigsaw piece to show how we can all unite together in year 2 to support one another and be a great friend.
