Nursery are having lots of fun during Anti-Bullying Week and learning about being good friends to each other.
We started the week by wearing our odd socks to show that we are all different and special. We loved watching the Odd Socks assembly and joining in with the singing and dancing. You can go to the whole school post to see the photos and the assembly.
Our book of the week is ‘The Rainbow Fish’ by Marcus Pfister which is all about a fish who learns to be friends by sharing and saying kind things to others.
We made our own Rainbow fish and shared out the shiny scales so everyone had one to stick on their fish and no-one had none.
Then we thought of kind things that the fish could say to his friends.
Some of our ideas were; “You can play with me,” “I love you,” “You make me happy,” “You’re lovely,” “You’re nice,” “I will share my toys with you,” and “You are a superhero!”
Now we are trying hard to remember to always say kind things each other.
Please go to this week’s home-school link activity for Nursery on Google Classroom to take part in a quiz to share what you have been learning about being kind.
