To coincide with our book of the week ‘I Will Not Ever Never Eat a Tomato’ we have been talking about fruit, vegetables and our food likes and dislikes.
This helped us to understand our Artist study for this term! We have been looking at the interesting work of Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. He made portraits using fruit, vegetables, fish and even books.
After an introduction by Miss Knowler, we had a fun interactive activity. Everyone looked at a picture of Giuseppe Arcimboldo‘s work, and tried to make their own version out of our home corner food!
There were some fabulous results, everyone did such a great job!
