During Art Week, a professional artist called Heidi Street-Ward led a felt making workshop for every class. Class 1 were involved in rubbing the felt pieces together. We pressed hard to make them flat. We rubbed for ages until the images were sufficiently felted.
We were also lucky to have Patrick’s mum, who is a fabulous artist, help us to make a Scraffito Map. We were inspired by buildings that we have seen in London and especially in Marylebone. We then put them all together and cut out strips of colours from the London Underground map. It’s been a fun fortnight!
