We have a great week in Reception.
We really enjoyed our art workshop by Guy and Patrick’s mum. We looked at pictures of Van Gogh’s famous painting, ‘Sunflowers’. We had the opportunity to make our own sunflower by experimenting with lots of media and processes. It was a great morning and we all loved the end product! Thank you very much to Guy and Patrick’s mum!
To carry on with the art theme we looked at the artist Paul Klee in maths as we have been learning about shapes. We made our own shape inspired art by drawing shapes and naming them as well as making our own shapes using lolly sticks.
